Classy melodic jazz from a trio of experienced professional musicians
Plum Jazz are a jazz trio with Sax, Piano, Drums with fantastically mellow, melodic sounds that would suit a party, event or bar where atmosphere is everything. Mostly instrumental with the occasional vocal, these highly experienced musicians can transform the mood with their rich and authentic tones, and familiar tunes presented in their unique arrangements, and swinging time.
After a lifetime’s experience PlumJazz are enthusiastic to perform their rich and varied repertoire from Ellington to Sinatra, Charlie Parker to Thelonious Monk, Nora Jones to Donald Fagen, and all points in between.
Mostly we perform without drums, which means we can fit in small spaces and aren’t too loud, and aren’t too expensive. Drummers and singers are available for larger events.
